Abstract

With this research newspaper, I will make an effort to illustrate my personal hypothesis of spiritual creation throughout the lifespan by using my personal interpretation of a collection of ideas. The theories I will consider include Piaget's Cognitive Advancement Theory, Erikson's Psychosocial Theory, and Kohlberg's Development of Moral Reasoning Theory. In Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development, he develops a theory of intellectual development that occurs in levels from individuals under 2 years of age through age 18. Piaget's theory relates to the cognitive development of a human person. In Erik Erickson's Theory of Psychological Development, Erikson describes a theory comprising eight levels of psychosocial development. This really is in regard to persona development and the impact of external elements to that expansion. Lawrence Kohlberg sums up his theory with many distinct levels of development regarding meaningful reasoning. This individual presents ethical dilemmas to persons, and observes how a person talks about those issues. I will try to correlate my own thoughts on religious formation over the life span to these theories as I use these kinds of authors' models of mature thought, moral and cognitive creation.

2. According to Jean Piaget, there is a sequence of maturational thinking. Piaget proposes that the child can respond to external forces in order to formulate summary thinking of that concept. This can be a beginning of your life pattern of within a person's pondering and eventually an extensive cause and effect thinking begets more thinking resulting in further growth within a person. Using his model of cognitive development, I will illustrate your maturation throughout the lifecycle of spiritual creation. Using Piaget's theory and relating this to the psychic formation of your person throughout the lifecycle Let me illustrate my theory on this the psychic formation thru the life pattern. The 1st stage in Piaget's cognitive development theory is the sensory-motor stage. In summary of Piaget's work on this stage, a child orients him self or himself to things in the world; by simply moving and reacting the infant learns what he is competent of and what the around world has the ability to of. This sequence of actions, are learned reactions and reflexes that will be repeated. The infant is going to first direct actions toward him home and eventually immediate the actions toward something other than him self. In the childhood stage of spirituality, the new " infant” or finder, is at first a spiritual journey. Something stimulated the thought of a more deeply meaning in addition to that believed was delight. The hunter will look inside and become aware about a new notion in reality, a single with that means and reliant on a higher being. The second stage in Piaget's theory is the pre-operational stage. This is actually the ability pertaining to thought further than a single sizing. Piaget cell phone calls this thin focusing on a single object or perhaps salient sizing centration. A spiritual finder will narrowly assume that their particular beliefs are universally approved or the " right” method. According to Piaget, this kind of thinking is usually egocentrism. Another stage from the theory is concrete functional stage. In this stage, Piaget describes a capacity for the thinking in a visual method *

2. About multiple concrete things and " see” what can become of them a simple math, if you can. This understanding is important to the understanding of straightforward arithmetical manipulations. It is also primary to a second operational skill: categorization. To get a spiritual seeker, one can identify with or against different denominations, beliefs, and higher electricity. The fourth level of Piaget's theory is formal procedures stage. Through this stage 1 will be able to consider things in a way that allows opportunities that are risky in...
